The Master of Education (M.Ed.) is offered at Iconic University in collaboration with APEX University. The programme run for  3-semester which aims to prepare educators for leadership roles in the field of education. Based on the belief that education is a powerful tool for personal and societal growth, our programme focuses on developing critical thinking and practical skills in curriculum development and instruction, educational administration and planning, as well as guidance and counseling. This comprehensive programme equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in various educational contexts and make a positive impact on the lives of learners. The Master of Education (M.Ed.) with specialization in Curriculum Development and Instruction is designed to equip educators with advanced knowledge and skills in designing and implementing effective curriculum and instructional strategies. This programme provides a comprehensive understanding of educational theories, research methodologies, and practical approaches to curriculum development and instruction. Students will engage in critical analysis of curriculum frameworks, evaluate current instructional practices, and develop innovative strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners. Through a combination of coursework, research, and practical applications, students will gain the necessary expertise to lead and shape educational programs that promote student learning and achievement. This programme is ideal for educators seeking to advance their careers in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational leadership roles.

The Master of Education (M.Ed.) with specialization in Educational Administration and Planning is a rigorous programme designed to prepare individuals for leadership roles in educational settings. Through a combination of coursework, hands-on experiences, and research, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of educational policies, systems, and practices. They will develop skills in management, planning, and decision-making to effectively lead schools and educational organizations. The programme also focuses on developing strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, as well as fostering a deep understanding of diversity and equity in education. Graduates of this programme will be well-equipped to take on leadership positions in schools, districts, and other educational institutions.

The Master of Education (M.Ed.) with specialization in Guidance and Counseling is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become effective educators and counselors. The programme focuses on developing expertise in key areas such as human behavior, counseling theories and techniques, ethical and legal guidelines, and cultural and diversity awareness. Students will gain a deep understanding of the role of a guidance counselor and how to provide support and guidance to students of all ages. The curriculum blends theoretical knowledge with practical experience, allowing students to apply their learning in real-world settings. With this degree, graduates will be prepared to have a positive impact on the lives of their students and make a meaningful difference in the field of education and counseling.

To be admitted for this programme, candidate must have 5 O’Level credits passes in English Language, Mathematics, including any other 3 subjects. In addition to the O’Level requirement above, candidate is expected to:
(a) have a minimum of second class (lower division) of a first degree in Education or in any other related field.
(b) have a minimum of second class (lower division) of first degree in other fields other than education, plus PGDE.
(c) have a first degree with third class plus 5 years post-graduation experience or HND plus a university PGD at credit level pass, (i.e., CGPA of 3.0/5.0) or 50% on weighted percentage average may be considered for admission.
(d) present NYSC certificate (discharge, exemption or exclusion) for Nigerian candidates.

Iconic University charges modest fees that give learners the chance to pay per semester only. Nigerian candidates seeking admission will pay an application fee of N15,000 and $40 would be paid by international applicants.
